Who we are
We are the voices for the people, fish, birds, marine mammals, eel grass, plants, all habitat relying on the Estuary and the people who have been tasked to advocate for those voices and their own identity connected to the Channel. That’s a huge responsibility, and should be a loud voice. Unfortunately, these voices have not been heard enough.
This page is dedicated to those who have a deep link to the channel, whether or not they are enrolled with the Village of Solomon tribe, whether or not they reside in the Bering Strait Region. The connection between an individual and a natural place, isn’t validated through an enrollment record or residency.
Let this page be a space for you to receive updates, straight facts, photos, advocacy information and awareness. If there is an opportunity to share this website to your own networks, please share. This page is designed to offer the accurate information that has been foggy at best, with a ton of cloudiness in transparency between the permitting agencies, the mining company and misinformation being publicized and/or the truth hidden by some that have worked to diminish the value of the people who identify with the land, water, community, air in the Solomon watershed and surrounding land; worked to diminish the validity of the opposition and the lack of understanding, lack of respect, lack of tribal consultation knowledge and the amount of public controversy blatantly ignored.
We welcome you to navigate this website for the truth and welcome you to share information and photos. We welcome your support.
We are the protectors of the land, water, species and people of the Bonanza Channel.
